A new book on 'Information Technology Laws' released successfully by Karnika Seth

To create awareness about Cyber Laws; a new book "Computers, Internet and New Technology Laws" is released on 29th August’12, at India-Islamic cultural center, New Delhi. This book is authored by Karnika Seth, Cyber-Lawyer & Managing Partner of Seth Associates. The book has been launched by Butterworths Lexis Nexis Wadhwa in collaboration with Karnika Seth. The Book was released by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Altamas Kabir, Hon’ble Judge, Supreme Court of India, who was the Chief Guest of the Book release event.

 Hon’ble Mr. Justice A.K. Sikri, Acting Chief Justice, High court of Delhi, graced the occasion as ‘Guest of honour, and delivered his thoughts at the book release function and explained the importance of the book and its various chapters which are very important to know for everyone who is practicing in the Cyber Law field.
 
 Distinguished Guests Dr. Gulshan Rai, Director General of CERT-IN (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) and Mr. Lok Nath Bahera, Inspector General of Police, National Investigation Agency, share the importance of this book and also said that this book will bridge the gap between the latest Technical Era and the Legal Fraternity. The book release function was gathered by more than 200 people from Law, Technical & Law Enforcement agencies, IT & ITes professions and law students.
 
 This book discusses the key developments in the field of Cyber Law across India and other jurisdictions, particularly, Europe and the United States. The book is written with a special focus on cyber law related legislations in India, the IT Act, 2000, its recent amendments and new rules framed there under.
