Moreover, as its the time for Christmas and the New year is on the way, people who rely most on Online Shopping should also take lot of precautions as more than 35% of Indians use their personal computers/ Laptops for online shopping. However, it is very important to know whether the sites on which you are passing your Credit Card/ Debit Card information is the legitimate or a cloned website.

For millions of Internet Users who plan to go online this holiday season to shop for the best deals, finalize travel plans and update their social channels, it's important for them to enjoy those activities safely by checking their security protection on their computers and mobile devices first, Dr. Girdhar said.

It is also important to be wary of offers that are too good to be true. Do not click on the links or open attachments from people you don't know or companies' Emails or sites that look suspect, and go directly to authentic websites by typing their name in web address bar.
